Bao Quyen Vu, NP is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner who joined Dr. Ngo’s medical practice in 2024 after she received her NP degree in the same year from West Coast University. She is certified in Gerontology, specializing in the care for seniors’ chronic medical conditions and their preventive care. Bao Quyen Vu, NP manages all aspects of adult patient care, similar to an Internist’s or Primary care physician’s role, including prescribing medications and performing office medical procedures.She was a Registered Nurse in the Telemetry Department for 2 years at Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center and Fountain Valley Medical Center, taking care of acutely and critically ill patients suffering from heart attacks, cardiac arrhythmias, strokes, and post cardiac surgeries. Prior to her nursing career, Bao Quyen Vu, NP had graduated Summa Cum Laude from a challenging accelerated program at West Coast University in 2017 and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree in just 3 years rather than the typical 4 year program. West Coast University is an accredited institution in Southern California for Nurse Practitioner and Bachelor of Science in Nursing degrees, and Bao Quyen Vu had excelled and received both NP and BSN degrees from the same institution. She believes West Coast University has given her the solid foundation in critical thinking, communication skills, and ethical and legal acumen while caring for patients. She has had extensive clinical experience in a variety of clinical settings including hospital settings such as Medical Surgical, Telemetry, Psychiatric, Pediatric, Maternity New Born, and Intensive Care departments. Aside from her academic excellence and clinical acumen, she has been a compassionate and competent care provider and has received numerous compliments and recognitions both from the patients she cared from and her department managers.
